LoneStar Fasteners Hydrobolt (LSFH) was formed following the strategic synthesis of multiple longstanding manufacturing businesses, including PRD, EuroFast, Triplefast and Hydrobolt. As a mark of our longstanding expertise, our origins can be traced back to 1984. Ever since, we’ve been on a journey of continual investment, self-improvement and entrepreneurial vision that’s led to the creation of a true centre of manufacturing excellence, ready to reinforce our industry-leading reputation. 1991 – Hydrobolt established
Hydrobolt began to manufacture and supply high-integrity special fasteners and machined components to the global energy industries, predominantly oil and gas.

2001 – Dixon Street
As Hydrobolt grew, the business moved to Dixon Street in Wolverhampton, UK. This new facility enabled the business to expand production, increase stock range and deliver an improved work environment for the team.

2004 – Studbolt Manufacturing Ltd.
After identifying a new business opportunity, Hydrobolt launched Studbolt Manufacturing Ltd, a specialist stocking operation to service the ASTM stud bolt market.

2009 – Hydrobolt Group established
Following the growth of Hydrobolt and Studbolt Manufacturing Ltd, management invested in an ERP system (Epicor) to remove duplicated effort and streamline operations. This created the Hydrobolt Group, a unified company capable of delivering both special fasteners and stud bolts to customers.

2011 – A new acquisition (BCSF)
The Hydobolt Group quickly expanded again, with the small yet strategically significant acquisition of Birmingham Cold Formed Special Fasteners Ltd (BCSF). The move boosted manufacturing capability and created new market opportunities.

2014 – Part of the LoneStar Group
Having demonstrated significant manufacturing and distribution capabilities since 1991, the Hydobolt Group was acquired by the LoneStar Group to become part of a world-leading team with an unmatched global reach.

2024 – Stronger together
LoneStar Fasteners Europe and Hydrobolt joined together to form LoneStar Fasteners Hydrobolt. This new venture harnesses the combined strengths of two businesses, creating one of the largest critical bolting manufacturers and distributors in Europe, operating from cutting-edge facilities at Universal Point and P113 in Wednesbury, West Midlands.

1984 – PRD established
PRD began to manufacture and supply special fasteners to the global energy industries, including oil and gas and power generation markets.

1985 – EuroFast established
EuroFast – a specialist stud bolt stockist – was launched to service global oil refineries and petrochemical plants.

1991 – TripleFast established
TripleFast entered the marketplace as a specialist export company selling PRD and EuroFast products to global critical-industry customers.

2003 – On-site test facility
PRD, EuroFast and TripleFast invested in an on-site testing facility to improve quality and reduce reliance on third parties to accelerate operational timelines, enable greater project flexibility and maintain long-term compliance with international and industry standards.

2007 – Vulcan Road
TripleFast moved to new facilities at Vulcan Road, Bilston, West Midlands, to optimise operations, increase capacity and ultimately offer a more comprehensive service to customers.

2013 – LoneStar Fasteners Europe established
PRD, EuroFast and TripleFast merged to form LoneStar Fasteners Europe. This combination of teams and expertise removed duplication of operations, manufacturing, stock lines, systems, quality, sales efforts and accounting; ultimately improving service, processes and communication for customers.

2014 – Universal Point
LoneStar Fasteners Europe moved to state-of-the-art facilities at Universal Point, Wednesbury, West Midlands. This relocation accommodated increased production and storage needs due to business growth, enabled greater scalability to support future demand, increased production capacity and offered enhanced customer service benefits.

2018 – Oracle Test Laboratory established
The Oracle Test Lab was launched as an independent company, offering world-leading, trusted, approved and accredited material testing to critical-industry partners and customers operating outside the LoneStar Group.

2023 – LoneStar Fasteners Hydrobolt is established
LoneStar Fasteners Europe and Hydrobolt joined together to form LoneStar Fasteners Hydrobolt. This new venture harnessed the combined strengths of two businesses, creating one of the largest critical bolting manufacturers and distributors in Europe, operating from cutting-edge facilities at Universal Point and P113 in Wednesbury, West Midlands.

2024 – Planning for success
To meet increasing customer demands, streamline logistics and reduce delivery times, LoneStar Fasteners Hydrobolt made P113 fully operational. This bespoke-built distribution centre supports company growth, enhances inventory, accelerates processing times and improves product availability. Not only is P113 a state-of-the-art, future-facing facility, but it’s also an extremely energy-efficient building that’s significantly reduced the company’s carbon footprint.

2025 – A centre of manufacturing excellence
To consolidate operations, improve workflow, increase capacity and improve on-time deliveries, all manufacturing was moved to Universal Point, Wednesbury, West Midlands. This centre of manufacturing excellence streamlines logistics between production and distribution and offers a highly flexible factory floor that can adapt to customer needs and accommodate further investment in advanced machine tools.
